In case you didn’t know we have two domain names that allow you to access our website.  You can either use http://www.greercog.com or you can use http://www.greerchurchofgod.com.   Some people have commented they cant remember ‘GREERCOG’ which stands for ‘Greer Church of God’ so when the site was created I registered the other as well.   Just haven’t really publicized it until now.  So if you cant remember one maybe you can remember the other and invite people to visit our website and church.

Every year I try to do some project to do online thats not only fun but informative in some sort of way about our church.  Last year was the 75th anniversary of the Revival that bought forward the Greer Church of God.  More on our history can be found in the ‘About Us’ section of our website.    Anyway this is a project that i need everyones help on.  What i need from all of  you is Photos.  Photos from any time involving the Greer Church of God.  From its construction till now.  Any photos you have of the church, other buildings, church activities, or the surrounding community.  I also need photos of any pastors before Bro. Duncan as i have him, Bro. Parker, and the current Pastor, Bro. Land.  So if you have any photos please email me them at webadmin@greercog.com.   If you are currently attending you can also label them and give them to me and i will scan them in and give them back to you.  If you do not currently attend and do not email please send them in an envelope  marked ‘HISTORICAL PHOTOS’ to the church parsonage at:

Rev. Mac Gilliam will be with us for REVIVAL of the week March 7th-12th. Services will begin that Sunday @ 11 AM and 6 PM followed by weeknight services @ 7 PM. All are invited to come.

We must give thanks to the generosity of Whitey & Barb Casey to fund our website for the coming year. Without them it would have not been possible. Thanks guys!

Attention to everyone…The Greer Church of God is having TRUNK OR TREAT this Friday Night from 7PM to 9PM at the Greer Church of God Fellowship Hall. Everyone of all ages is welcome. There will be plenty of candy for the kids and also some food served as well.

The senior citizens will be having a garage sale on Saturday October 10th starting at 8 AM and continuing until 2 PM.  There will be plenty of items for sale and they will also be selling their famous hot dog dinners with all the trimmings included.  So come on out on Saturday October 10th and get some great bargains and some great food.

We now have two new ways to receive a notice anytime a new post is put on the Greer Church of God blog.  The first way is to follow right through Facebook by either becoming a fan of the Greer Church of God on Facebook or clicking the “Follow my Blog” link on the right under the NetworkedBlogs plug-in and it will follow the blog on Facebook for you as well.   Or if you do not have Facebook you can click the “Subscribe to the Greer Church of God Blog by email” link to recieve email alerts anytime a new post is posted on the Greer Church of God Blog.  By doing one of these options you can receive the latest updates as they happen and wont miss anything that happens right here at the Greer Church of God.
